Terms of Service Updated
Our Terms of Service has been updated slightly. A change is coming in the RabbitStats service soon which will allow accounts of different levels to be created (each with access to different features), and the ToS has been updated to reflect this.
You’ll need to accept the ToS the first time you log in. (Any time the ToS updates this will be the procedure from now on!)
Thank you for being a RabbitStats user! Yay for our users!
[UPDATED] Unplanned Downtime on March 5th, 2008
[UPDATE] Our ISP has canceled the power outage. We will be rebooting our server to update some software, but the downtime will only last a few minutes.
Thank you!
Our Internet Service Provider has notified us that they will be performing unplanned mandatory emergency maintenance on the power that services the facility our server is in this evening around 9:00PM PST (Second Life time) tonight, March 5th, 2008.
To avoid any data loss, we will power down our server at 8:30PM PST. Our ISP will automatically power the server back up when the power outage is complete.
If the outage lasts longer than our ISP is predicting your collectors will notify you that they are able to uncommunicate with the server. There is no need for you to take any action on your part – your collectors will automatically recover once the server has returned.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Collector Version 2008-03-04-01 Posted
A new version of the collector script has been posted. After the most recent server update, and issue has arisen with collectors whose scanning radius covers <0,0,0>. (For more information, please look at SVC-1746 in the Second Life JIRA!)
Collector version 2008-03-04-01 checks to ensure that all avatars detected are within the scanning radius before adding them to the seen avatar list. This is a minor change, and if your collectors do not scan <0,0,0> in a sim, there is no need to upgrade.
You can pick up a new version of the collector script at our in-world storefront, or IM me in-world (Bunny Halberd) and I’ll be happy to pass you a copy.
As always, we appreciate all of our customers and thank you!
